Prior to attending law school, Mickey worked for Child Protective Services in Texas investigating case of child abuse and neglect and later owned his own real estate appraisal business in Texas.
Mickey graduated with honors from the Bowen School of Law where he excelled in legal research and writing and was an associate editor on the Law Review. Following law school, Mickey worked as an attorney for the Department of Human Services. In private practice, Mickey has successfully taken on large corporations and government entities, including handling complex class action litigation and civil rights cases.
Mickey's experience with government agencies has proven to be invaluable in representing clients who are dealing with such agencies, both in administrative actions and court cases. Mickey handles cases in both state and federal courts as well as representing clients in proceedings before administrative agencies. Mickey also has experience in handling both state and federal appeals. Mickey practices in the areas of criminal law, family / domestic relations, administrative law, civil rights, general litigation, and appellate law. In his free time, Mickey enjoys, fishing and spending time with family.
